In 1981, beginning my studies in the workshop of Fine Arts until 1985 Centro Habana, the same year joining the Academy Art Elemental "Paulita Concepcion" graduating in 1988,   ¨ enrolled at Academia de Bellas Artes de San Alejandro ¨ in 1991, graduating in 1994, that year became part of the Department of Conservation and Restoration of the National Museum of Fine Arts in Havana until 2001.

BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT

1995 - Workshop Workshop "easel painting" at the National Museum of Fine Arts, taught by specialists from CENCREM (National Center for Conservation, Restoration and Museology) in Havana.

1995 - Course on supportive treatment given by specialists CENCREM.

1996 - Spanish course taught by specialists on easel painting and frame style in Cenchreae.

2000 - Course on the work of Caravaggio, offered by specialists from the University of SACI, Italy, held at the CENCREM.

2001 - Course on easel paintings and stylish frames given by Dutch experts at the National Museum of Fine Arts in Havana.

WORK EXPERIENCE

1994-2002   - Restorer and Conservator of the Department Easel Painting Restoration Museum Nacional de Bellas Artes de La Habana.

1995 - Restoration of 2 works, the eighteenth century, in the Archdiocesan Seminary                                   San Carlos and San Ambrosio in Havana, which are: ¨ ¨ Immaculate Conception and anonymous ¨ ¨ San Carlos Melendez, both of 200 x 120 cm.

1998 - I travel to Spain to participate in the restoration of the   Parts of a traveling exhibition that country. It highlights the restoration of the piece The Puerta del Sol, oil / wood, the Spanish painter Luis Paret y Alcázar,   together with specialists from the Museo de Bellas Artes de Bilbao. Also worked   in the restoration of 4 pieces of the Cuban avant-garde painter of the twentieth century Amelia Peláez, held in Valladolid.

 

2001 - I made the restoration of 4 works and their frames in the Archdiocese of Havana   They are: ¨ ¨ burial of Christ Cuban painter Aristides Fernandez, ¨ San Juan Nepomuceno 'and the' Santa Barbara ¨ Cuban painter of the eighteenth century Nicholas of Stairs and the restoration of Potosi Christ ¨ ¨, a table between the sixteenth and seventeenth   anonymous author.

During my work in the catering department of the National Museum of Fine Arts in Havana, I participated in the   restoration fees which analyzes and diagnoses the procedure in the operation of each piece together the group of restaurateurs.   I restored the funds and storage rooms as well as the works of permanent and temporary exhibitions of national and international display at the Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes de La Habana. Among the collections are worked the Cuban painting (from the colonization to modern times), Latin America and Europe, among which include parts of the Spanish School (XVII to XX century) with renowned artists such as Eugenio Lucas Velazquez, Joaquin Sorolla, RAYMOND MADRAZO, Luis Paret y Alcázar, JOSE DE RIBERA, among many others. She comments on the work of painters like Jacob works PONTE DA Bassano, Giovanni MARIA Mitelli, Canaletto and others belonging to the Italian School (sixteenth to eighteenth century). Other restorations of great value are reflected in pieces from the German School (XV-XVI century) Dutch School (XVII century) English School (XVIII century), Flemish School (XVII century) and Flemish School (siglo XVII) .

I have also worked extensively in the restoration and treatment of "style frames.
